I've read in Nexus that yes, the patch shouldn't cause any CTD, but I've been one entire week uninstalling the game and installing again the game, trying mods one by one, and with USLEEP, no matter if alone or with mods, it always crash after a few seconds of Bethesda logo. I was running your patch without any problem in the pirate version of Skyrim, but since I erased all the data of the previous installation and installed through Steam, the game won't run anymore with your patch. I was using Skyrim with your patches since a long time ago, with a pirate copy, and as I love it, I decided to purchase it (Legendary Edition, of course). Skyrim Better Roads - All In One - Merged.espīlowing in the Wind - Helgen Reborn Patch SSE.espīlowing in the Wind - SMIM Merged All Patch SSE.espĭisables USSEP and all the mods dependent on it (which I highly doubt that modifies something in how Breezehome is dealt), I could buy the house just fine. Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.espīlowing in the Wind - Lanterns of Skyrim Patch SSE.esp Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esm I have the dialog with Proventus, but when I confirm him that I want to purchase the house, he doesn't give me the key and the option to buy Breezehome is still there. I have found through all the forums and it seems that USKP had this issue long time ago, but it seems that is back in USSE. It seems that I also can't purchase upgrades. I sincerely don't know what else I could test, but for me it seems completely an USSEP issue. Maybe the problem is not in USSEP, but in any of those mods?

I went mod by mod, disabling and testing, until I uninstalled USSEP (and all the mods that depended on it, like Cutting Room Floor and Provincial Courier service): I could purchase the house without issues. I spent some days looking through the internet but my exact issue (proventus giving me the dialogue option, but not giving me the key) was only mentioned once in a reddit post (where they suggested to quicksave and quickload after the dialog). Uninstalled the Breezehome by Lupus again, purgued cell buffer, restart game, checked for orphaned scripts (0 aaccording to FallRim). I considered it safe, so I dumped my old "new" game and started again from scratch. In fact I verified it using SSEditor and I saw that it doesn't have any scripts (besides the autosorter), as the description says. However, when I completed the quests and noticed that I couldn't buy the house, I decided to dump it as it was a pretty intensive mod which made many changes and decided for this Breezehome by Lupus, which only modifies the appearance and doesn't add any scripts.
#XCE SKYRIM SPECIAL EDITION INSTALL#
As I restarted replaying Skyrim in the Special Edition, I wanted to start the new game with some carefully chosen mods, and not install new ones along the way, in order to avoid some problems I had in the standard edition. I chose the Wind District Breezehome mod for Breezehome. Know that they offer different assets to the overall look.Įdited by Aulliwyn, 06 November 2014 - 01:52 AM.Yeah, I thought that the faulty mods were those that modified Breezehome in some way. Know the difference between maps and textures. It's just how I chose to overwrite that helped me obtain the results. It seems like a lot but in order to find my happy place I ended up using what seems to be overlapping elements. It does take some know-how to understand what install order/what to overwrite in order to achieve your desired outcome.

I use: RaceMenu, ApachiiSkyHair Male pack, Battle Hardened Warpaints, Brows, Superior Lore-Friendly Hair, The Eyes of Beauty, Better Males (Smooth Male Body - textures for Better Males - SOS - Body Normal Map, SOS, Fine Face Textures for men, High Res Face Maps for Men by Geonox, High Resolution Scars, Smile in HD, XCE - Xenius Character Enhancement (Dawnguard/Warpaint and Dirt ), Dragonborn Mages Robes, The Well Dressed Mage( yum). I wish the body was also not so buff/more flat. I was able to make a very lovely androgynous male (he's my avatar). It is the difference of vanilla menu versus SkyUi for me. The scroll that ECE offers is finicky just as vanilla character customization is. I like race menu over ECE for one reason: The way you move through the different options. You can preview it in RaceMenu but it is currently non-functional (last I checked). However, with patience you'll see RaceMenu hasthis feature available as well. You can make a very anime-esgue pretty boy through it. Enhanced Character Edit has better capabilities of making androgynous males due to the feature of morphing the wireframe.
